This summer at UMASS Boston from July 9th - 12th the 2009 Bay State Games soccer program will take place.This season will again have EMFC's coaches on staff, coaching the southeast region's high school boys soccer team will be Mike Madden, Jeff Camara and Paul Pinhiero. We would also like to congratulate the EMFC players who made this years team. Matt Vargas, Skyler Abrams, Scott Levy, Chris Murray and Andrew Vinciguerra will all be representing the southeast region. If you have time stop by UMASS Boston and root on the boys.

EMFC Announces Leadership Soccer Summit for Girls
On July 24th, 2009 EMFC will kick off its second Leadership Soccer
Summit for Girls. Starting on May 15, 2009 local girls soccer players can sign-up for the three-day summit.
The Leadership Soccer Summit for Girls is designed to increase player development and promote wellness for girls ages 9-15 through the game of soccer. Girls who attend will be provided with concrete tools to increase self-awareness, self-esteem, self-defense, and nutritional values for life, along with premiere level coaching in the game of soccer. The summit, created and led by former semi-professional player & collegiate Head Coach Christy Belisle M.Ed., will feature:

Desmarais Named MIT Women's Head Coach |

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
– Martin
Desmarais, Head coach of EMFC's U15 girls team, was named head coach of the MIT women’s soccer team as announced
by Julie Soriero, Director of Athletics, on Monday. Desmarais served as the
Engineers’ interim head coach last season after four years as an assistant with
the program.

EMFC Players Helping Others |
On December 6th, 2008 Eastern Mass Futebol Club participated in the Special Olympics Jolly Jaunt 5k walk/run in Boston. On a cold, December day on the Boston common over 120 EMFC players, parents, coaches, family and friends came out in support of a truly wonderful cause.
