Vasconcelos 3-peats as NAC Coach of the Year |

Cambridge, Mass. – EMFC Director of Coaching Paul Vasconcelos has been named the 2009 NECC Men's & Women's Soccer Coach of the Year.
Vasconcelos led the men's program to a program best 15-4-2 overall record and 5-1-1 in conference play. They earned the #2 seed in the NECC tournament making it all the way to the NECC Championship match losing in OT. For their impressive season the Lynx were selected as the #8 seed in the ECAC tournament.

STOUGHTON MA - The Board of Directors are pleased to announce that EMFC is affiliated with the PNC. The PNC is a social club in Stoughton, MA. They have a long history in the community and share a passion for the game we all love. This relationship brings EMFC to new heights as we now have a place to call home. PNC has a state of the art function hall that EMFC will be allowed to use for such things as banquets, team meetings, and a place for teams to go after matches to discuss the game and grab a bite to eat.

Recently we had our 2009 Summer Soccer Camp at Kelly Field in Milton MA. We had great weather, tons of soccer, 120 campers and loads of fun. EMFC coaches Katie Neary, Paul Pinheiro, Jeff Camara and camp director Mike Madden had the pleasure of working with so many great kids! |

Costa Hired as Technical Director |

Canton, MA - Eastern Mass FC Director of Coaching, Paul Vasconcelos, announced that current Lesley University Assistant Coach Jim Costa has been hired as Technical Director for the club.
Jimmy's presence in our club immediately gives us credibility, said
Vasconcelos. He is one of the most respected coaches in the area and
hehas a great vision for our club. Jimmy has
developed some of the best soccer players this club has ever produced.
His main priority at EMFC will be to oversee the technical development
of all our young players.

EMFC Players/Coaches Help Southeast Win GOLD |
|
Boston, MA - Mike Madden, Jeff Camara and Paul Pinheiro volunteered
their time to coach the Southeast soccer boy’s team for the Bay State
Games (www.baystategames.org)
The games are run as an Olympic style format, where the 4
top teams advance to play in the medal rounds. The southeast boys finished
3-1-1 which gave them the opportunity to play in the gold medal game.

This summer at UMASS Boston from July 9th - 12th the 2009 Bay State Games soccer program will take place.This season will again have EMFC's coaches on staff, coaching the southeast region's high school boys soccer team will be Mike Madden, Jeff Camara and Paul Pinhiero. We would also like to congratulate the EMFC players who made this years team. Matt Vargas, Skyler Abrams, Scott Levy, Chris Murray and Andrew Vinciguerra will all be representing the southeast region. If you have time stop by UMASS Boston and root on the boys.
